Our Story

At Goulding's, we are proud to be a family-run business with a rich history dating back to 1897. Founded by Joe Goulding, our story began with a passion for growing soft fruit to supply the local markets. As the business grew, we expanded to include a wider range of vegetables, eventually stopping our vegetable growing operations in the 1960s. In 1992, we ventured into the world of bedding plants, which has since become a staple of our business. Today, we offer a comprehensive range of products and services under one roof.

Our garden centre offers a vast array of plants, including trees, shrubs, bedding plants, herbs, fruit trees, and more. We also supply a wide range of garden features, outdoor furniture, gardening tools, and equipment.

Restaurant

Our 150-seater restaurant is a popular destination, offering a delectable menu that caters to all tastes and dietary requirements. From homemade soup to freshly baked cakes, our menu is designed to delight. We also cater for children with a special menu offering meals and lighter bites. Whether you're looking for a quick coffee and cake or a leisurely meal, our restaurant is the perfect place to relax and unwind.
