The Landscaping Consultants

We founded The Landscaping Consultants in 2013 after eight years of handson experience as a head foreman and apprentice. Our founder, Jake Catling, began his career with a parttime role before leaving school and completed a formal apprenticeship. Since establishment, we have grown into a multiawardwinning, BALIregistered landscaping company. We specialise in bespoke landscape construction, offering expertise in landscape engineering, consultancy and contracting. Our team transforms spaces into stunning, functional and lasting environments through innovative techniques. We combine these techniques with a deep commitment to sustainability, ensuring each project thrives for years to come. In 2024 we delivered two landmark projects for the National Trust, including the multiawardwinning Octavia Hill Garden by Blue Diamond at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show.

That garden received the Peoples Choice Award, the Childrens Choice Award and a Silver Gilt Medal, reflecting our commitment to excellence. Our work has also been recognised with a BALI National Landscape Award in 2018 and Jake was named one of Pro Landscapers 30 Under 30 in 2017. As a member of the BALI Board of Directors we actively improve industry standards and promote sustainability through initiatives like Hyphae. We maintain the highest professional standards, prioritize client satisfaction and continue to mentor apprentices while investing in new technologies.
