Active Groundworks is a Cornish family-run business that has been providing high-quality services since its inception in February 2003. From humble beginnings with a single van, the company has grown significantly over the years, moving to larger premises to accommodate its expanding fleet and team. Today, Active Groundworks operates from its current location at Carland Cross, boasting a diverse range of vehicles and equipment, including excavators, HGV tippers, and a Hiab truck for lifting.

The company's history is marked by steady growth, with significant moves to larger units in Perranporth, St Day, and finally, Royal Kenwyn Yard on the outskirts of Truro. Each move has enabled Active Groundworks to take on more extensive projects and expand its services to meet the growing demands of its clients. This journey has been marked by milestones such as acquiring new equipment, increasing its van capacity, and establishing a team of skilled professionals.
