Growing Memories, Not Just Plants

At Sturmer Nurseries, we are a family-run, independent garden centre located in the heart of Haverhill. With a rich history dating back to the Sixties, our garden centre has been serving the local community for over 40 years. Our story began in 1969 when Howard and Marilyn Clutten started trading as Horseheath Garden Supplies from their home. As the business grew, they needed larger premises, and in 1982, they found the derelict site at Sturmer Nurseries.

Our Story

We pride ourselves on offering the best quality plants at competitive prices. We grow many of our own plants, as well as sourcing them from local East Anglia suppliers. With over 40 years of experience and knowledge about plants and gardening in the local area, we are always happy to offer expert advice.
