At Novaterra, we are a garden design and landscaping company based in Ealing, West London. Established in 2007 by Fabiano dos Santos, who has over 20 years of landscaping experience, we have been involved in over 100 landscaping projects, including small town gardens and courtyards, larger residential gardens, and schools.

Garden Design: We create comprehensive garden design plans, tailored to our clients' needs and preferences. Our designs take into account the site's opportunities and constraints, as well as key rules of harmony and composition.
Landscape Construction: We bring our designs to life, incorporating a range of materials, including timber, natural stone, brick, concrete, metal, glass, and resin.
Maintenance and Planting: Our experienced team of gardeners can ensure your garden remains looking its best through regular maintenance visits. This includes pruning, watering, feeding, compost top-up, and general tidy-up of planting beds.

Our Process

Our garden design process consists of several stages:

Initial Meeting: We discuss the main purpose of the garden, how it will be used, and gather an idea of the client's budget.
Survey and Analysis: We conduct a basic survey of the garden, taking key measurements, photographs, and noting important features of the site and its context.
Concept Design: We prepare one or more concept designs, showing initial ideas for the garden, including suggestions of key hard landscape materials.
Preliminary Design and Materials: We refine the design and materials, incorporating any changes discussed with the client.
Visual Aids: We produce 3D Sketchup views of the garden and provide a mood board with images of the suggested hard landscaping materials and features.

Garden Maintenance

Our team of experienced gardeners can ensure your garden remains looking its best through regular maintenance visits, including:

Pruning, watering, feeding, and general tidy-up of planting beds
Weeding, mulching, deadheading, and clipping of ornamental trees and perennial plants
Lawn care, hedge and climber pruning, small tree pruning, and garden clearance

Planting

We can add new planting to your garden as part of regular maintenance visits or as part of a landscape design project. Our planting selection reports and planting schemes take into account the role of plants in garden design, including ground cover, focal points, and role of plants in garden design.
