At Evergreen Garden Design & Build, we are a fully qualified garden design and build service based in Sevenoaks, Kent, operating in the Southern counties and South London. Our Expertise
With over a decade of experience in the industry, our Director, Alex Lindsay, brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to every project. With a BA in Art History from Winchester School of Art (Southampton University), Alex's informed understanding of Modern Art and Architecture is evident in his design work. He gained experience in building gardens with Prima Flora, a Surrey-based landscaping company, and later studied for the Garden Design diploma course taught by well-known garden designer Andrew Wilson at Merrist Wood.

Planting Projects: Whether you're looking to add colour, structure, or winter interest to your garden, we can help create a bespoke planting scheme that suits your soil type, garden orientation, or site condition. From adding sympathetically to an existing garden to creating a completely new design, we aim to create schemes that age gracefully, benefit wildlife, and add variety of form, colour, movement, and focal points.
Garden Design: Our team offers both designing and building gardens, providing clients with the assurance that a high standard is maintained from the design process through to the build completion and planting. We work closely with clients to understand their needs and preferences, ensuring that our designs meet their specific requirements.
Walling and Stone Work: We specialize in designing and building retaining or dividing walls that complement the architecture of the house, improving access to the garden or creating social spaces.
Decking & Timber Work: Our expertise in designing and building bespoke timber features allows us to maximize space in gardens, creating functional and aesthetically pleasing outdoor areas.
Paving: We offer a range of paving options to suit different site conditions, budgets, and design aesthetics.
Show & Public Gardens: Our award-winning garden at Hampton Court Flower Show 2014 showcases our ability to create stunning and functional garden designs.
Teaching: With over a decade of teaching experience, our Director, Alex Lindsay, has been running a two-year Diploma course in Garden Design at Coolings Garden Centre in Knockholt, Kent. He also offers introductory courses and summer lectures on various garden design-related subjects.
