Welcome to Embleys Nurseries, a traditional garden centre that has been serving the community of Much Hoole, Preston and the wider Lancashire area since 1932. Our family-run business has grown from humble beginnings into a thriving garden centre, nursery and restaurant, all situated on the main A59 between Preston and Southport. We take great pride in our extensive range of home-grown plants, our knowledgeable team of experienced gardeners, and our commitment to providing excellent customer service.
In October 2016, we expanded our offerings by opening The Arches, our very own licensed Restaurant & Coffee Shop. Here, you can enjoy traditional home-cooked food, handmade desserts and pastries, and hot and cold beverages in tranquil surroundings and decor that is perfect for every occasion.

Our Plants
We grow over 300 varieties of plants within our Garden Nurseries, including Ornamental Trees, Fruit Trees, Roses, and Shrubs. Our range includes Heathers, Camellias, Azaleas, Dwarf Rhododendrons, Dwarf Conifers, Pieris, Hollies, and Magnolias. We are committed to providing high-quality plants that are grown with care and attention to detail.
The Arches Restaurant & Coffee Shop
The Arches Restaurant & Coffee Shop is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a delicious meal or snack after exploring our nurseries and garden centre. Our menu includes traditional home-cooked food, handmade desserts and pastries, and hot and cold beverages. We are open seven days a week and offer a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all.
NOW HIRING - Assistant Supervisor
We are currently looking for an Assistant Supervisor to join our team at The Arches Restaurant & Coffee Shop. The role involves supporting the supervisor with the day-to-day running of the restaurant and covering supervisor days off and holidays.
