The Barn Garden Centre

We are an independent family owned and run Garden Centre and Cafe, situated just outside Oundle in Northamptonshire. Our story began in 1976, when a group of Post Office workers came together to form the Peterborough Post Office Horticultural Society. They started selling seeds and garden sundries in bulk to their fellow members. Over the years, the business grew, and we moved to several locations before finally settling in our current home in Oundle. Today, Paul and his wife Steph run the Garden Centre and The Boxwood Cafe, which offers a great selection of outdoor plants, trees, garden tools, furniture, gifts, and cards. We are proud to offer a wide range of products for your garden and home, along with a delicious menu in our cafe. Whether you're looking for plants, homeware, or just a nice cup of coffee, we have everything you need.
