Alexandra Froggatt Design

Our design practice was established in 2010, rooted in a deep scientific understanding of botany and a genuine passion for horticulture. We began our journey with a biology degree specialising in botany, which naturally progressed into a career in wildlife conservation before we channelled our combined artistic talents and plant expertise into landscape design. We honed our technical skills and design philosophy while working as a partner in a Sheffield-based design company, gaining invaluable hands-on experience as a gardener. Our portfolio demonstrates a commitment to simple yet elegant design, ensuring that every scheme not only complements but actively enhances its natural surroundings. We focus on incorporating beautiful details and unique, often bespoke sculptural elements into our work to create truly distinctive spaces. We are recognised as a living wall expert, having dedicated over a decade to designing and installing sophisticated green walls.

Our residential projects have been shortlisted for prestigious accolades, including The SGD awards and the Northern Design Awards in 2017. We have also designed and installed seven show gardens for the RHS and Gardeners World Live, earning multiple Platinum awards and a Best in Show title. We bring this high level of show-garden innovation and meticulous attention to detail to every private residential commission we undertake. Our approach combines strong artistic talents with an avid interest in plants to deliver spaces that are both beautiful and ecologically thoughtful. We consistently strive to push creative boundaries while maintaining the highest professional standards in execution. We ensure that every project, regardless of scale, is delivered with a level of refinement that reflects our extensive industry experience.
