Ben Renfrew's Background

Ben's passion for garden design was born from his early interest in environmental science and his volunteer work with Friends of the Earth. His career in horticulture began at Hillier Nurseries, where he spent 13 years working as a manager and was part of the team responsible for achieving 70 consecutive Chelsea Gold medals. Ben's design philosophy is underpinned by his holistic approach, which prioritizes long-term client relationships and a deep understanding of the natural world. He is a Pre-Registered Member of the Society of Garden Designers and has designed over 60 gardens in the Cotswolds and beyond.
