Company History

The company was founded in 1996 by Gareth Clarke, the Managing Director, who had previously completed his studies at the Lancashire College of Agriculture & Horticulture. Prior to forming the company, Gareth gained experience as a groundsman at Cardiff Arms Park and worked in the wholesale nursery trade. He also lectured in Amenity Horticulture and Countryside Skills at a local college. In 1997, Richard Marks joined the company as a trainee, and after successfully completing his college course, he worked his way up the company infrastructure to become the Works Manager and a shareholder, with specific responsibility for project delivery. Under the guidance of Gareth and Richard, the company has enjoyed year-on-year growth and currently employs ten full-time staff, in addition to numerous seasonal employees. Our success is built on attention to detail and a commitment to delivering a quality finish product.
