As a highly experienced and qualified Garden Designer, I, Fiona Buttenshaw, have a passion for helping people transform their garden dreams into reality. Glen Rosa Garden Design is based in North Lanarkshire, covering the whole of Central Scotland and further afield. With over 18 years of experience in garden design, I have developed a wide range of skills and expertise, from simply revamping a tired border to designing large gardens of several acres.

Detailed Design Packages
Our detailed design packages include:
- Initial Consultation: A meeting to discuss your design requirements and goals
- Garden Survey and Site Analysis: A thorough assessment of your garden's conditions and possibilities
- Conceptual Design: A visual representation of your design, incorporating your ideas and preferences
- Detailed Design Drawings: Comprehensive drawings of your design, including settings and construction details
- Planting Design: A detailed plan for your garden's plantings, including plant varieties, positions, and numbers
Tendering & Project Inspections
After the design phase, we can assist with the tendering process, including:
- Producing a full specification for the garden build, including scope of works and bill of quantities
- Helping to find a suitable landscape contractor
- Conducting site visits during construction to ensure the build is carried out as designed
Planting Service
We offer a planting service, where we can source and plant your chosen plants, either directly or through a suitable landscape contractor. We can also provide advice and guidance during the planting process.
Garden Design Consultancy Visit
For those who want to seek advice and design ideas without committing to a full design package, we offer a consultancy visit. This is an excellent option for those who want to get a feel for the design process or have a smaller budget.
Fees
Our fees are based on an hourly rate, plus travel costs. The Consultancy Visit fee starts from 150. Travel costs will be confirmed depending on location.
