Located in Castle Donington, Derbyshire, our family-run garden centre and nursery has been serving the local community for many years. Our traditional nursery is set within a four-acre plot, formerly part of Donington Hall, offering a unique shopping experience amidst beautiful gardens and historic architecture.

Our Products

Our nursery offers an extensive range of high-quality plants, trees, and shrubs, including many unusual varieties. We grow our own Laurel, Privet, and Thuja hedging plants at the nursery, making it easy for you to find the perfect plant for your garden. We also stock a wide variety of garden sundries, gifts, patio pots, stoneware, compost, and gravels to complement our plant range.

Compost and Aggregates

At Donington Nurseries, we pride ourselves on our vast choice of growing mediums. We stock a range of composts, including Peat products, Peat-reduced, Peat-free, and Organic, as well as Chipped Bark, Multi-purpose, Vegetable Compost, Rose, Tree, and Shrub Compost, Seed sowing, Grow bags, Soil improver, Lawn soil, Ericaceous (for acid soil-loving plants), Top Soil, John Innes grades, and Manure. We also offer a selection of gravels and rockery stone, including Slate, Golden gravel, Moonstone, Butterscotch, and Flamingo, to name a few.
