Since its establishment in 1992, the company has been involved in designing, constructing, and planting various gardens, including small town gardens and large country estates, across Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire, Oxfordshire, and North London. Clients have been mainly private individuals, although the company has also worked with housing developers and corporate clients such as Barratt Homes and Ikea.

Peter Bird, the founder, graduated from Massey University in New Zealand with a Horticultural Science degree in 1986. He gained practical experience working for landscape contracting companies in New Zealand and Australia before moving to England in 1989. After working for a leading garden designer, Peter established his own company in Wendover, Buckinghamshire, in 1992.

The practice offers a complete service from initial consultation to the construction and planting of your garden. Garden Design Process

The design process begins with a visit and consultancy, where Peter will gather information on your likes and dislikes and what you want to enhance within your garden. This is followed by a detailed survey of the garden to ensure an accurate design. A scale drawing is then prepared, illustrating the initial ideas, and after any changes are made, the final design is prepared, showing all areas of hard and soft landscaping. Planting and construction plans are also included. To ensure the garden is built in sympathy with the design, Peter offers a project supervision service. After the garden has been constructed, he can source, supply, and plant all the required plants and provide an easy-to-follow garden maintenance guide. Recently, the company has also started offering a seasonal maintenance service.
