Our founder, Annie Hogan, is a Professional Garden Designer who is passionate about plants and gardens. With a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of nature, Annie works closely with clients to enhance their surroundings and create gardens that suit their individual lifestyles.

We offer a full range of services, from initial consultations and conception to completion and maintenance. Our Services

_Initial Consultation_

We offer a free initial consultation within a reasonable distance of Blandford Forum (mileage charged thereafter). During this consultation, we will visit you in your home to discuss your requirements and establish how your garden can be improved with an individual design. We encourage you to write down or think of any ideas or wish lists before we come to see you. This is an opportunity for you to see our portfolio of work and ask any questions you may have with regard to the garden design process.

_Design_

After the initial consultation, we will provide you with a fixed price quotation based on our understanding of the design brief and your requirements. The cost for the design will be dependent on the size of the garden and the complexity of the project. We will require a deposit before starting any design work.

A measured survey of the site and soil analysis will be undertaken so that the right planting can be implemented into the design. Detailed scale and coloured drawings will be made to help you visualise and understand your garden design. Any construction details will also be included to help contractors with costings or assist you if you are landscaping the garden yourself.

_Planting_

Planting schemes are produced to really bring your new garden to life. Detailed scale drawings can be provided listing specific cultivars of plants, sizes and spacings for planting. A maintenance sheet listing everything you need to know about your new plants and how to look after them will be available.

_Construction_

We can guide you and oversee the garden design construction process and offer help with choosing a construction company.

_Maintenance_

We also offer garden maintenance services to ensure your garden stays looking its best all year round.

Our Ethos

At Sweet Meadow Garden Design, we adopt a wildlife and eco-friendly ethos wherever possible. In our own garden, we grow flowers and vegetables and are keen beekeepers.
