Our Approach

Our journey begins with a visit to your home, where our expert designer, Jane, will work closely with you to understand your likes, dislikes, ideas, and aspirations. This meeting forms the brief for your project, and a written quote for design costs will be sent to you. The next stage is to complete a survey of your garden, from which a sketch design is drawn, based on the brief. The design is presented to you along with a style board of images that help to demonstrate the theme and style of the design, suggested materials, and planting. Once the design is approved, a brief is provided to the selected landscaper to enable them to prepare a quote for the hard landscaping work.

Planting Services

We are happy to provide planting services if you have some tired and untidy borders to renovate, or we can plant your new garden as part of our full design-to-completion service. We will take into account your garden's specific conditions when preparing a planting proposal to include trees, shrubs, climbers, and perennials as appropriate. A list of proposed plants, including brief descriptions and estimated costs, is supplied, and, if required, planting plan drawings can be prepared. We can source plants and associated materials such as soil improvers and mulches, and carry out the preparation and planting for you.

Project Management and Aftercare

We can liaise with the contractor before and during the construction process to aid the realisation of the design. If you would like some advice on caring for your new garden, some general guidelines on maintenance can be provided to help you to know what to do to keep it looking its best. We can also provide guidance on how to incorporate sustainable and environmentally friendly practices into your garden, to contribute to the health of the planet.

About Our Designer

Jane, our lead designer, trained at the West Midlands' leading horticultural college, Pershore College in Worcestershire. Jane's philosophy is that anyone can have a lovely garden - whatever the space available. You don't have to own a country estate to enjoy the outdoors at home - even the smallest courtyard can be transformed into a beautiful yet practical garden which will give years of pleasure.
