As a gardener and a designer, I, Jenny Noscoe, have always been fascinated by the unique synthesis of people and place that a garden embodies. Every garden is an extension of the owner's home, reflecting their functional and aesthetic preferences, and respecting its specific environmental context. At Jenny Noscoe Garden Design, my mission is to create gardens that not only thrive in their purpose and surroundings but also evolve across seasons and years, touching the hearts and minds of those who experience them.

With over a decade of experience in the design industry, I set up my practice in 2012, having been part of a team that delivered two RHS Chelsea Gold medal-winning gardens. My expertise lies in my extensive knowledge of plants, artistic eye, strong visualisation skills, and ability to listen to clients' needs and express their ideas back to them. I take a hands-on, proactive approach to delivering gardens that are not only visually stunning but also sustainable, ecological, and supportive of biodiversity.

My passion lies in promoting ecological design and the importance of connecting with nature. I work closely with local craftspeople and source local materials to reduce our carbon footprint, ensuring that our designs are not only beautiful but also environmentally responsible.

Our Garden Design Process

At Jenny Noscoe Garden Design, we take pride in our collaborative approach, working closely with our clients to understand their needs and expectations. Our garden design process begins with a consultation, where we discuss the brief, taking into account the garden's purpose, likes and dislikes, restrictions, and budget. We then conduct a site survey and analysis, producing a thorough design brief and site analysis.

From this, we develop a concept design and produce a set of sketch designs for the client's new garden. Once the design has been agreed upon, we create construction drawings, planting plans, specifications, and present material samples. We work with a select group of reliable contractors to ensure that the garden is built according to plan. Our inspection and site visits ensure that the construction process is seamless and meets the highest standards.

Garden Maintenance

At Jenny Noscoe Garden Design, we understand that maintaining your new garden is essential to ensuring its longevity and aesthetic appeal. That's why we offer a maintenance service, providing a maintenance schedule and guidance on caring for your garden.

Our Services

Garden Design Consultation: A visit to discuss the design brief, including discussions about likely uses and function of the garden; likes and dislikes of the owner; restrictions due to soil type, orientation of the garden, and weather conditions; and a preparation of a wish list of plants and features to be included.

Site Survey and Analysis: Conducting a thorough site survey and analysis, including photos and measurements of the garden.

Design Development: Developing the concept design and producing a set of sketch designs for the client's new garden.

Outline Garden Design Proposal: Drawing up the agreed design to the master plan stage.

Detailed Drawings and Specifications: Creating construction drawings, planting plans, specifications, and presenting material samples.

Tendering or Nomination: Nominating a reliable contractor or managing the building process on behalf of the client.

Inspection and Site Visits: Inspecting the construction site and guiding the contractor where needed, making sure everything is built according to plan.
